Taiwanese young farmers are working on reducing chemical pesticides and fertilizers. Though this action increases cost of farming, it is love and cherishment for the land. Toung Loong donates to the program and purchases regional healthy rice, which is grained and delivered to Toung Loong’s factories every week. Farming with reduced pesticide and fertilizer usage lightens the burden of the land, also produces healthier rice. Toung Loong supports local farmers in Taiwan. This support is not only for our love for Taiwan and regional farming, but also for our employees’ health while they can enjoy local healthy food.

“CEO Yu loves the land of Taiwan, and wants to help regional farmers and agriculture in Taiwan. Through the referral of Small and Medium Enterprise Administration and How’s Food Company, Toung Loong starts offering their 500 employees “local fresh-grained rice”. Rice is grained and delivered by the regional farmers closed to Toung Loong’s factory every week. To the company, this would increase a small amount of cost and work. However, it is a strong support like a good rain after long draught for farmers. “
